Gimli

First day in Gimli started with swetty moments(at least for Henna), because we were going to see snakes! We visited Snake Dens outside Gimli, and saw thousands of garter snakes getting together and starting their reproducing process. Garter snakes are not poisonous, so there were nothing to worry about!

After snake dens we headed to Diemo Machine Works Inc. in Arborg, which was known in Finland as Marty's employer. The tour was really interesting, and it was nice to see motivated people, like our quide Allan Friesen, working for the company. Diemo does machinery for almost all kind of industry. It is still rather small employing about 80 people, but I am pretty sure that we are going to hear from it! After the tour we enjoyed delicious lunch, prepared by Allan's wife. We were also given a short presentation from Gerhard Wiebe, the founder of Diemo. At the end of the visit I got the opportunity to talk about the IT, and their solutions.
