It's that time of day when you can relax a little and perhaps update your blog. I finally optained pre-paid sim - card from here, so the communication will be easier (and cheaper).
Yesterday my host Damon drove me for vocational tour, which was targeted to Copperfin Credit Union, and Call Center that is dispatching emergency calls. It was interesting and awarding tour, specially the server room in Call Center was something else. It was implemented in February, so it was filled with the latest technology.
Like girls mentioned before, we had our first presentation yesterday. It was well received, and the audience presented really sharp questions, which was good.
Today we visited the museum, and after that toured the city watching the murals painted on the walls of the buildings. After that we had lunch at the hotel.
My hosts are Carol and Damon Merredew, and I have really enjoyed my stay in here! Too bad that we have too leave all nice people in Kenora, while we are heading to Gimli, Manitoba.
Terkkuja Suomeen, varsinkin omalle kullalle! :)

ReplyDeleteHi Ilkka, Petra, Karin, Ville and Henna!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are writing your blog in English and Finnish so Canadians can read it too! Nice to hear you arrived safely, and had a good time in Kenora!
Our GSE trip is ending today- it went by so fast! It is sad to leave- we have made so many new friends and learned so much. I can only hope that you will have as much fun as we did!
I look forward to hearing all about it on your blog!
