ZUMBA :)

Yesterday we had our first vocational visits. My one goal and ambition was fulfilled in the very first day in Kenora because I attended to a Zumba Fitness class !! The class was more than I had waited for. The class was lot of fun and full of samba, salsa, cumbia and reggaeton. I did also the line dancing which was fun too but maybe too cozy for me.

After all fun and sweat (and shower..) I met Mike Greaves at the Northwest Business Centre. He has a quite similar work than me because we both are helping new entrepreneurs. Mike has roots in Finland and has visited there once so we have great conversation together.

At lunchtime we had meeting with Kenora Rotary Club and kept our first presentation. It went very well. After presentation we visited iLevel by Weyerhauser which is the leader in the residential structual frame market and has a large collection of proven building products. (Juha, olisit varmasti tykännyt tästä vierailukohteesta..) Our guide, Ian, told us very specific how the mill is working. Ilkka and other girls were listening very carefully. :)

In the evening we had a BBQ-dinner party at my host family (Barbara & John). It was very delicious !

Today I will start my day in hot tub. :) I will meet the other at 10 am. C U !

  1. Petra, I can't believe you danced the zumba already! I know you are all having a great time because Kenora is so beautiful and so are the rotarians there. It could remind you of Suomi I think. It is going to be great fun to follow your blog now that ours is ending. So sad but we will leave Finland very soon and we will miss all the wonderful friends we have made - the best friends!
